Absolutely! Saddle Prince Ranch is family-friendly and we love working with kids. We have gentle horses suitable for children and offer family experiences designed specifically for young riders. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and we recommend kids be at least 6 years old for riding activities.

Most lessons are 1-2 hours long. For beginners, we typically start with 1-hour sessions to build stamina and confidence. More experienced riders may prefer 2-hour lessons that include more advanced skills and trail time.

Your first lesson focuses on building trust and comfort with horses. You'll learn how to approach, groom, and saddle a horse, basic riding position, how to mount and dismount safely, and simple steering and stopping techniques. We start in a round pen for safety and gradually progress as you gain confidence.

We offer both! Private lessons provide one-on-one attention and progress at your pace. Semi-private lessons (2-3 people) are great for couples or friends who want to learn together. Small group lessons are also available for families. Contact us to discuss what works best for you.

Yes! Many riders develop a bond with a particular horse and we encourage that relationship. Let us know your preference and we'll do our best to pair you with the same horse for your lessons, availability permitting.

We welcome riders of all ages! Children as young as 6 can start lessons (with parent present), and there's no upper age limit. We tailor instruction based on physical ability and comfort level, not age.

We recommend wearing comfortable, natural colors that complement the ranch setting. Avoid bright neon colors. Western wear, flowing dresses, or casual attire all work beautifully. Closed-toe shoes are required for safety around horses.

Not at all! Prince will handle the horses throughout your session. We'll guide you on how to safely interact with them for photos. Our horses are gentle and accustomed to photo shoots, making the experience comfortable for everyone.

Golden hour (early morning or late afternoon) provides the most stunning natural light. We're happy to schedule sessions during these prime times. Weather permitting, we shoot year-round—each season offers unique beauty.

Absolutely! We welcome professional photographers and enthusiastically support your creative vision. We'll work with your photographer to suggest locations and help coordinate with the horses for the best shots.

Groups of all sizes are welcome! Whether it's just you and a photographer or a large family gathering, we can accommodate. For groups larger than 10, please mention this when booking so we can prepare accordingly.

We monitor weather closely and will contact you if conditions aren't ideal for photography. We're happy to reschedule at no additional charge. Light overcast can actually create beautiful, soft lighting for photos!

Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely - long pants (jeans work great) and closed-toe shoes with a small heel are required. Avoid loose clothing that could get caught. We provide helmets, but you're welcome to bring your own if it's ASTM-certified. Gloves are optional but recommended for comfort.

While all equestrian activities carry some inherent risk, safety is our top priority. We use well-trained, gentle horses, provide proper safety equipment, maintain our facilities carefully, and Prince personally supervises all activities. We teach proper techniques and always start beginners in controlled environments before progressing to open trails.

Yes, all participants (or their legal guardians for minors) must sign a liability waiver before riding. This is standard practice at all equestrian facilities and protects both you and the ranch. We'll provide the waiver when you arrive or you can request it in advance.
